Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Ph. D. Degree with NET/ SLET or PG, NET/ SLET with experience.
How to Apply:
Candidates may apply through prescribed application format along with
the copies of the following documents either Self Certified or attested
of Madhyamik or equivalent certificate, S.C./S.T./O.B.C. (category ‘A’
or ‘B’)/Persons with Disability certificate issued by competent
authority, Registration certificate for citizenship, Mark sheet and
certificate for each examination passed, Experience certificate reach to
to the Secretary, Public Service Commission, West Bengal, 161-A, S.P.
Mukherjee Road, Kolkata – 700 026 by registered or speed post on or
before 18-03-2014. Application may also be submitted personally between
11.00 AM and 3.30 PM on all working days to the Commissions office on or
before 18-03-2014. Two self-addressed unstamped envelopes and one
self-addressed post card should be enclosed with the application.

Public Service Commission, West Bengal invites applications for
conducting West Bengal Judicial Service Examination, 2014 for the
recruitment of 64 vacancies in West Bengal Judicial Service. Eligible
candidates may apply on or before 31-03-2014. Other details like age

Age Limit: Candidates
age should be between 23 years to 35 years as on 01-03-2014 i.e born not
earlier than 02-03-1979 and not later than 01-03-1991. Age relaxation
is applicable for BC/ PWD candidates.
Educational Qualification:
Candidates should possess degree in Law from any University or
Institution affiliated to any University recognized by the State
Government or the Central Government and have Enrollment as an advocate
in the roll of Bar Council of any State or Union Territory in India on
the date of advertisement for the examination.
Application Fee:
Candidates have to pay Rs.210/- in the form of Indian Postal Order be
purchased on a date after publication of this advertisement and crossed
and endorsed to the Secretary, Public Service Commission, West Bengal or
in the form of a receipted Challan from a Government Treasury in West
Bengal or the Reserve Bank of India, Kolkata under the head
“0051-00-105-State PSC-Examination fees-001-Examination fees-16-other
fees” and no fee for SC/ ST candidates.
Selection Procedure: Candidates are selected based on Preliminary Examination, Final Examination & Personality Test.

original, One copy of recent passport size photograph signed and pasted
on the application, attested photocopies of certificates of age and
prescribed educational qualification, Self-attested photocopies of
