Age Limit: Candidates
age limit should be 18-28 years as on 01-02-2014. Age limit is relaxable
by 5 years for SC/ ST and 3 years for OBC candidates.
Educational Qualification:
Candidates should possess Matriculation and Diploma in Mining with
Mining Foreman’s certificate issued by competent authority for Mining
Foreman Posts, Matriculation along with Mining Mate’s Certificate issued
by competent authority for Mining Mate Posts.
Selection Process: Shortlisted candidates will be called for written test/ interview.
Application Fee:
Candidates should pay Rs.250/- for Mining Foreman Posts & Rs.150/-
for Mining Mate Posts for General/ OBC candidates Rs.50/- for SC/ ST
candidates should pay in a specially opened Account (No.32469839252) at
SBI, CAG Branch, Kolkata, on behalf of SAIL/ RMD with a printout of the
“SBI challan” which is available on the Application Registration Portal.

1. Before applying online candidates must have a valid email ID, fee payment receipt, scanned copy of signature and photograph.
2. Log on to website www.sail.co.in and click on link “Careers with SAIL “.
3. Click on the link Apply Online and enter all the necessary details.
4. After entering mandatory details, submit the application form.
5. After applying online, download the system generated Registration Slip with unique registration number and other essential details and retain a copy of the same.
