The Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) has declared a notification inviting public for recruitment of teachers. Recruitment is to be made for 937 posts. Trained Graduate Teachers (TGT) and Post Graduate Teachers (PGT) are to be recruited by the NVS. There are 423 vacancies for Trained Graduate Teachers and 514 Vacancies for Post Graduate Teachers. Online applications for the same will be accepted from 1st February, 2014 and will last till 28th February, 2014. Candidates are supposed to apply online for the recruitment.
Before applying for the same, candidates have to check whether they fulfill the eligibility criteria or not. To be eligible for applying for the recruitment, candidate should be of age below 35 years for the post of TGT and below 40 years for the post of PGT. Age relaxation is also made available as per government rules. Applicant will have to pay Rs. 560 as application fees if they fall in the general / OBC category. And if they fall in the SC / ST / PH Category they are exempted from paying fees. The candidates will have to prepare very well for the exams as it will be much tougher as many talented candidates will apply and appear for the exams. So refer the study material properly and also practice for the exams from the previous year papers and also go through the syllabus once.
